The following script will allow for a 5 second ad timer and also fixes the immunity issue.

Please note if you are using Updater you will need to remove auto updating else this file will be overwritten.

@Daniel.PinionGG

I'm not using this code personally, as I don't know how you feel about us making our own fixes. However, many people requested it and maybe now you can see the fixed code and update your own faster.

EDIT:

Made a edit to the plugin to allow a 35 second ad wait timer.

@Fearts:

Thank you very much for this update of the immunity aspect.

One other Question about this version... You say it is only 5 seconds the ad. But will this mean that there wil not be a count for a ad seeing?

Can i set it still on for example 15 Secs? With a cvar.?

Code:
// Prevent the MOTD from being for the specified number of seconds.
// Min length: 15 seconds. Max length 30 seconds. A value of 0 will disable the delay.
// -
// Default: "25"
// Minimum: "0.000000"
// Maximum: "30.000000"
sm_motdredirect_force_min_duration "25"
users with a flag will still see the ad but they don't have to wait.

@AeroAcrobat

Yes, I believe if you comment out the updater include it will remove this function. Or if you like you can put: sm_updater 1 in your server .cfg. However, this will stop auto updating on all plugins that use it and just log updates (which tbh I think is much safer, that plugin is dangerous).

@Happy DODs player

All I did was remove the 15 second restriction and instead limit the minimum duration to 5 seconds. You can set the time to what ever you like via:

sm_motdredirect_force_min_duration

It shouldn't make sure you have your own webpage in motd.txt. If you are immune it will show that page instead of the ad.

What ar the ratio's for your gameservers.

I am getting low completions even when i have the MOTD set @ 23 Seconds before they can click to get in the game.

Anybody else got these low completions?

I have low completion rate too. Currently at time of post is 42.74% even though I've forced the 25 seconds (default settings) on the MOTD. If this is what is to be expected in the future then I can't see it be worth keeping Pinion due to the rather low payouts at that rate.
