i just gave up on this.
i uninstalled it deleted my database and tried from scratch and still couldnt get it so im done trying.
if someone could help me id really appreciate it. otherwise ill find something else

Go into MySQL in cPanel and scroll to the bottom.

I deleted all the hosts that were listed, then added the following...

Try that with yours is all I can suggest. I had the same problem as you at first.

ok i added that to the access hosts,
now i reuploaded thr plugin to my server and rebooted it but now it is not making the database file for me to edit? why is this?

The database.cfg file is not recreated automatically, you will need to replace it from backup or from the download file.

ah, ok then i need the files that are created upon install.
i didnt back them up the database and config file

The l4d_stats.cfg will be automatically created, but the databases.cfg will not. Like I said, you need to restore this from backups or you can get it from the SM 1.2 download.

cant you just post the 2 stock files i need?

You have to load the plugin before it will be created. And if it is already loaded, you might need to do an sm reload l4d_stats for it to register that it doesn't exist and then recreate it.

Request:

List the server name and IP address on the 'Who's Online' page of this application. Having this running on multiple servers is fantastic and when I got 20+ players across them all it would be nice to see who is playing where etc. Also would love to be able to add a tag under the 'Your Server' here with a line like 'Over XXX,XXX,XXX Served' where XXX is the campaign total for kills.

Also we served are 1 millionth hot lead sandvidtch earlier today according to your plugin. Only took 5.1 days .

Will do. I am actually thinking about changing the main page to a "server stats" style page, including "Zombies Killed" and "Survivors Rescued", etc.
