I see what you mean. I think its because I had to use an origin offset of 350 pixels on that model to match the ambient lighting. So if you're at a point where you can't see the model's origin, it won't get displayed. It should only appear on the none theme, and then only at extreme angles. The other themes don't use lighting offsets.

Hmm not working for me.

I original put:

amx_adthemes_enable 1
amx_adthemes_file adthemes_pinup

In the amxx.cfg file, and changedlevel. It d/l the default blank no picture adthemes and displays the blanks, which don't work for all angles.

I then put:

amx_adthemes_enable 1
amx_adthemes_file adthemes_pinup.cfg

In the amxx.cfg file, and changedlevel. It didn't d/l anything this time, and now displays the normal ads.


What am I doing wrong?

Your putting the adthemes console commands in the amxx.cfg, not the CVARS.
The CVARs are:
amx_adthemes <0|1> (defaults to 1, enabled)
amx_adthemescfg <filename> (defaults to adthemes_none.cfg)

But you don't actually need the CVARs unless your server restarts frequently and you want to use a theme other than the default. Once you change the setting via console commands, they'll remain until the server restarts.

Oh. Haha I guess all of my plugins are wrong then, it's a wonder any of the cmd's work at all. I've been adding the console cmd's for other plugins to the amxx.cfg for months.

Okay so it should look like:

amx_adthemes <1>
amx_adthemescfg <adthemes_pinup.cfg>

And the plugin will always be running and showing the pinup.cfg?

I wanted to add that yes it would be nice to have these auto load, I have auto server restarts and I'm never online when my server auto restarts. Twice a day in fact.

When you say blank adthemes, what exactly do you mean? The ones that say "Import Your Texture" or the ones that look like the walls?

You really don't need the amx_adthemes 1 CVAR since the plugin will always be enabled by default.

Try not using any adthemes CVARs in your amxx.cfg and see what happens. If its still bad, try re-downloading and extracting the .zip again.
