Just drag the .smx to your plugins folder

That's basically it, this plugin is good for slow paced themed servers. I'd recommend it on build mod servers, or puzzle servers.

It looks more like a checkpoints. Not a spawnpoints.

Yeah, it's basically you just set points where you spawn when you die. It can be used for checkpoints on maps you have to battle through, or as a spawnpoint if you are playing fort wars or something.
