yes, anytime you add a dll file , i think it has to be rebooted. It's thta way with HL1. Actully when the dll file is installed the server is shut down.

Mattie: the modified date for the linux version still says 27.04.05.....have you forgotten to add the new?

its his linux machine it doesnt fix the time stamp for some reason just load it up and type plugin_print in server console it will show correct version.

Yeah, my Linux build machine doesn't update the date unless I consciously do so myself. I forgot for this release. Sorry!

To get this working in HL2DM you just have to edit and change the path in mattie_eventscripts.vdf to:

"Plugin"

"file" "../hl2mp/addons/mattie_eventscripts"

(thanks to [MB]Brunt for this)

Works Ok in my HL2DM server, although only running one script at the moment. The one that announces players first kill....but thats a good start

Hi

I'm trying to use eventscripts on my dual 64-bit xeon running linux fc4.

Code:
es_setinfo cash1 0
es_getmoney cash1 event_var(userid)
if (event_var(es_userteam) equalto 2) then es_msg #lightgreen event_var(es_username) is T and have server_var(cash1) dollars.
if (event_var(es_userteam) equalto 3) then es_msg #lightgreen event_var(es_username) is CT and have server_var(cash1) dollars.
The result is:

For me it looks like player_spawn doesnt work. It does run the same times as there are players.

Have anyone else seen this problem?
