i tried to update sourcemod but file "sourcepawn.jit.x86.dll" is detected as a virus for windows defender

I had the same problem with the same file, I downloaded a previous version of sourcemod build 6963 and with that I had no problems with Windows Defender

has anyone successfully got their server back up? Ive tried updating sourcemod but still am stuck in a crash loop.

not for now, but i will try it later

Update SourceMod and MetaMod to latest versions to make the server work. Should be able to ignore virus warning, though seems suspicious as far as I know those code changes were not made public, but these are bits of information I gleamed from browsing quickly.
