    Description:

    This is a weapon drop plugin for L4D2. It allows you to drop anything.

    Usage:

    Just type !drop in chat. Alternatively, you can bind a key to sm_drop.

    Admin Usage:

    Root admins can also force survivors to drop a slotted item.
    sm_drop <#userid|name> <slot to drop>

    The important question is:

    Does is support dropping weapons that have ammo/laser upgrades? Ie. will they be retained when they are picked up again? If not, it should be added.

    It does not, i will add those changes in the next update.

    i knew someone would take care of this today.

    question, if you type !drop and you are holding a melee weapon, it goes back to pistols?

    Its possible, if you have no weapon selected you go into civilian mode, where you model gets stuck in the default position

    Actually it just doesn't let you select that slot, you have to remove all your weapons before you go into civ mode. (It's not even really civ mode like in other source games, if you remember pausing in frusmod, that's what it looks like when your emove all your weapons) I stopped you from dropping your first pistol in the original one to ensure you always have a weapon, that and the game generally assumes you always have a pistol, i.e. incaps etc.

    The game replaces your melee with a pistol when you get incapped, then when you get rescued, it removes the weapon you had in your secondary slot and gives you back your melee.
