I haven't seen a team balancer out there that supports Source, so I wrote one. You can find more information about it here.

The built in balancer is rather poor. The PTBs you see on cs tend to balance teams quicker and can stop people joining the winning team and also stack the teams by player numbers as well so it favours the losing team.

I have addressed these comments in a frequently asked questions section after my initial post (given in my previous link). You can jump straight to the answers here. Thanks for your comments.

well works great, havent seen any problems.
just a couple questions;

will the teams be adjusted with the mp_limitteams taken into consideration ?

i'm guessing i have to disable the mp_autobalance ? presently its running and i havent seen any problems having both, sort of ETB just does the job faster than the default autobalance.

could u add a .cfg so people can adjust as they wish it to run ?

could their ever be a problem if Valve decides to fix the models problem in the future ?

am i asking too many questions ?

lol

I added these questions and answers to them to the FAQ.

For mp_limitteams and mp_autoteambalance? Those can go in server.cfg, no?

Sorry, I don't know about the "models problem."
