My bad, I posted this in the wrong category earlier.

I've been creating this plugin from scratch over the course of several months, which is my own version of the "upgrades" plugin.

It contains 4 basic versions of how the plugin can be ran,
allows for donator privileges to be enabled or disabled. The same is true for all the weapons, which can be enabled as categories or individually, as well as the abilities (perks) to be enabled or disabled, tier 2 and tier 3 infected to be enabled or disabled, and all of the other features, including my iteration of the backpack system.

Pretty much, it incorporates every idea I've ever had, as well as ideas from my community where I have privately tested this plugin over the last several months.

There are about one-hundred different variables that server owners can set in their buysystem.cfg file, which guarantees unique gameplay across all servers.

There is also, currently a built-in stats me and voting system, to enable and disable different options on the fly, etc.


A little run-down here about some of the features:

Incrementation mode:
This mode increases the price of anything a player buys, every time they buy it.

Restrictions mode:
This mode limits how many times a player may buy a certain item.

Both of these modes can be enabled, disabled, etc.


All of the special infected earn points for performing all of their hurtful, or influential-hurt abilities, such as the hunter who earns points based on his distance from target, when pouncing, as well as a multiplier when pouncing, which can, like every little thing in this plugin, be modified by the server owner, or admins on the fly.

At this point in the project, as it comes close to public release date, and I write a little bit of code and clean the rest of it up, I'm slowly running out of new ideas and things that I can code.

However, there are some iterations and inventions that have been presently disabled by default, that you can enable, though they are disabled due to player error, not system error.

I don't want to list EVERYTHING this plugin does or allows here. Rather,
again, as it heads towards launch, I invite players to come try it out, so that any suggestions people have can go into the plugin before it's released.

Yep. Eventually I won't have any new things to implement.
At the moment, though, it's a lot of different plugins in one.
I mean that, literally. There are about 200 different variables that
server owners can adjust in the bup27.cfg at the moment, and there
will probably be around 300 when the plugin is released.

Sure, I could have simplified it more, and while it'll set defaults if you
leave things at 0 or enter no value, I imagine there are owners out there
that want to be able to customize every possible thing.

Some new things I've added, so far, as it nears launch...

The default setting for the hunter pounce coincides with the l4d1 values.
You can change all the variables and play around with it.

HealthKitSaver is a small plugin i wrote, and while I'm pretty sure someone
else has done it already, it allows people to use medkits over and over
until they are depleted. The default amount of meds they contain are 100.
Again, you could set 10000 if you wanted to.

A lot of people in the servers kept saying Boomers didn't earn enough points.
Now, when you boom a survivor, or survivor(s), it'll reward you points equal
to the number of times they were smacked by the horde(s) that were
attracted by the bile. Of course, you can set the limit and minimum, as well
as the multiplier. Like I said, fully configurable.

I find a lot of the item buy plugins out there spam the chat with nonsense.
Nothing irritates me more than seeing "Hurt Survivor: XXX Points" Spam my
screen every 2 seconds. In this plugin, it waits until after you finish dishing
out damage to let you know how you did. Sexy.




It might take a while for people to set up the config files when they download
this plugin to their servers. But it's worth it.

While the initial plugin began as a small project, every idea imaginable has
been added to the plugin. By default, many are disabled, but even the ideas
that didn't go well for me or the group I run were not removed. You can
still enable them if you choose to.

Taking in to consideration all the source files that create this plugin, there are
over 8,000 lines of code, currently. And climbing. /Facepalm.

I'll have a stable release version available soon, hopefully. I uploaded a new
version of the plugin a few days a go, and the debugging process was a 48
hour period.
