What about an CS SQUAD MOD?

The Request:

Everyone in the CT team is able to invite People in his own Squad by pressing the use Button on the wished person (at every member of the Counter team)

The Terrorists are also able to do this(at every member of the Terror team)

ok..if someone presses now the use button on you..you get this:

You could also asked all of the cts as an ct to join jour Squad

JOIN SQUAD ALPHA?

2. NO

(The Squadname is automaticly choosen by the number of the existing ones)

First is ALPHA
Second is BETA
Third is GAMMA
and the last is DELTA

SQUAD BONUS: (equal wich squadname- every Squad got the same Bonus)

ok if you click yes the Squad opener becomes the Leader of the Squad Alpha now... the Squadleader by himself gets no bonus, but every Squadmember in his (near) gets an health resuming.. point to point resuming... 2hp per seconds

ok...but if you are in a squad and pressed use on an member of another Squad - the Leader of this Squad gets the Message -

If he presse YES you will change your squad

same thing if you as an Squadmember of Squad ALPHA talks to the Squadleader of SQUAD BETA - (he gets the message with the question to invite you)

if the Squadleader of team ALPHA talks to an Leader or Member of team BETA to change his own Squad he first gets an message like

REALLY LEAVE?

after this:
... all his ALPHA MEMBERS stays at ALPHA-
the Squadleader himself became now an member of team BETA (if accepted by the other Leader) a new member of team ALPHA wil nowl be automaticly choosen to be the new ALPHALeader.

If the Betaleader denies the joining request, everything stays like before

A Leader is Important becouse his health regenerating radius...

if the Leader <DIE> no one out of his SQUAD could be healed untill the next round

This all could be Awesome with some Sounds for every Action...

like:

JoiningNewSquad.wav
YouBecameTheLeader.wav
InHealRadius.wav (like an beep )

and some sprites for each Squadleader Head... yust putt it in the code..i could make all the sprites for the teams

I think ALPHA - DELTA should be enough

allready 4 Squadleaders.. and you asked a non Squadjoinet Person with the usebutton on him- the Sound FullSquad.wav would be played (for only you)

If a Squad was Created by Someone the Squadname Should be Displayed in a Coloured Message at the Left side of the HUD for everyone (till this squad is empty again)

like

ALPHA (This should stay till this squad is empty again)
BETA (This should stay till this squad is empty again)
GAMMA (This should stay till this squad is empty again)
DELTA (This should stay till this squad is empty again)

This is a very good idea, i thought of this too!

But shouldn't third squad be named "Charlie"

ok, i've been planing this mod in my head for a while now
i was planning to make it like a group XP mod but that doesn't really work cause of the save xp and stuff
so instead i'm gonna make it that each squad has its own special ablitites and a small description about it too

Squad-1/Alpha (Recon/Scouts) = More speed
Squad-2/Beta (Snipers) = no foot steps
Squad-3/Gamma (Medics) = +5hp every 7 seconds
Squad-4/Delta (Demolision) = Stronger nades (maybe...)
Squad-5/Omega (......) = No recoil (maybe...)

what you guys think? add ur thoughts in this

please dont add things like this....this goes way to far..ths should only add some teamexperiences..like stay together in a group...not everyone on anotherside of the map..

no foodsteps or more speed goes to faar in the direction of warcraft 3...PLEASE NOT

but +5hp every 7 seconds would be better than 2 per second

if there is a leader...
and all that stuff about staying around him to get that regen bonus if ur near him...
the only problem i would see (and this is actually a big problem) is that if the leader dies. The whole squad is usless and there should ONLY be one leader so its best not to have a co leader or such which is kinda stupid cause in real life, you only have one leader in each squad.
So all in all, I might not add the leader system to it as its not a good idea.
