If i rename a custom_model.mdl to mymodel.mdl and i change his path from models/custom to models/mymodels i need to change the resources paths and names too ( like custom_model.vtx, .phy, etc ) ?

You need to use crowbar to decompile the model if you want to change materials path.

And don't forget to change $baseTexture path in your .vmt

Seems i can change the model name and the model path without decompile but the resources path needs to remain same.

For example:

- Your model name is flower_model.mdl and you cand find it in flowers folder
- Your flower_model's resources path is materials/flowers
- You can rename the folder to any name you want and the model's name as well, folder's name doesn't need to be same as model's name, but u cannot rename materials/flowers because the model will render black, without textures.

Thank you so much for helping me. I managed to change the path with you first solution. I decompiled the model using Crowbar.
