I don't know if you're willing to code this in but it would be a very nice feature to have a welcome message everytime a registered forum user connects to the gameserver in chat.
Such as : "Welcome <Nickname>, you're registered member <forum username>"
It would somewhat enhance the community a little and show the other players that he's part of it.
Again, just a suggestion.
