Game Coordinator/matchmaker stops sending players after map change.
So yea, quite self-explanatory really..
When launching an mvm server on
tf_mm_servermode 2- The Game Coordinator will collect players for a certain map.
- Will then change the level of your server to that map.
- Will try to keep your server filled by sending new players if a few of them drop out.
However, When that map is finished (all the waves are completed) and the server changes level..
The GC abandons you...
No new players are sent..
Unless all of the players drop out, the server goes back into hibernation, and the GC fills it up again..
So yea,
Is this intended or is it a very annoying bug?
On a sidenote:
[TF2] MvM Servermode AutoToggler tries to fool/fix this system/bug by changing the
tf_mm_servermode cvar to 1 if people join.
Judging by the comments (and assuming they actually know what they're saying), this once used to work..
However it does not work anymore :/
