Stop my ip from changing?
 

My external IP keeps changing so people cant put my server in thier favorites, is there anyway to make my IP stop changing?

You can ask for static IP address from your Internet Services Provider. I believe there is no other way.

You generally have to pay somewhere between 5-10 bucks more every month. Also you could use dynamic DNS from one of the free providers like no-ip.com, but then you would always have to tell people to add that instead of your IP, and it would still be annoying.

its free and it worked great for me

Then when it changes you have to automatically do it yourself, or download a whole seperate program to check your ip address every couple of times per minute or whatnot and then if it changed update the servers, and then they update the domain, and that takes more than an hour usually for DynDNS, for no-ip it could take 5-10 minutes I believe. I did DynDNS a while ago, dunno if it's changed.
