Units of Time
I created a function that I envision could be used in a number of plugins. I'd like to present plugin authors with pre-translated language phrases that are used in the function. If you could translate the following phrases, I would be immensely thankful. Presumably plugin authors using this function would also be thankful.
Here are all the translations submitted thus far: Code:
[en] |
swedish translation:
Code:

[nl]
TIME_ELEMENT_SECOND = seconde TIME_ELEMENT_SECONDS = seconden TIME_ELEMENT_MINUTE = minuut TIME_ELEMENT_MINUTES = minuten TIME_ELEMENT_HOUR = uur TIME_ELEMENT_HOURS = uren TIME_ELEMENT_DAY = dag TIME_ELEMENT_DAYS = dagen TIME_ELEMENT_WEEK = week TIME_ELEMENT_WEEKS = weken TIME_ELEMENT_PERMANENT = permanent TIME_ELEMENT_CNT1 = %s TIME_ELEMENT_CNT2 = %s en %s TIME_ELEMENT_CNT3 = %s, %s en %s TIME_ELEMENT_CNT4 = %s, %s, %s, en %s TIME_ELEMENT_CNT5 = %s, %s, %s, %s en %s |
Polish translation:

[es]
TIME_ELEMENT_HOUR = hora TIME_ELEMENT_HOURS = horas TIME_ELEMENT_DAY = dia TIME_ELEMENT_DAYS = dias TIME_ELEMENT_WEEK = semana TIME_ELEMENT_WEEKS = semanas TIME_ELEMENT_PERMANENT = permanente TIME_ELEMENT_CNT1 = %s TIME_ELEMENT_CNT2 = %s y %s TIME_ELEMENT_CNT3 = %s, %s y %s TIME_ELEMENT_CNT4 = %s, %s, %s, y %s TIME_ELEMENT_CNT5 = %s, %s, %s, %s y %s |
Thanks for all the translations guys! As I indicated in the first post, I'm immensely thankful. Please keep them coming.
One thing I'm noticing and I wasn't sure about this in the beginning, which is why I did the TIME_ELEMENT_CNTn's like I did, is that the structure in each language appears to be the same. What I mean is, everyone is placing the commas where I placed them and the word "and" where I placed it. In fact, it looks like I could get away with just a language phrase for "and" and then string together everything else as needed. That's the route I'll take unless any further translations differ in this respect. Oh, I've one concern. TIME_ELEMENT_PERMANENT seems be getting translated as "permanent" as opposed to "permanently", if at all. Just wanted to bring that up in case anyone needed to edit their response. Thanks again! |
ok change it to "permanentemente"
|
Code:
[de] |
Thank you again Curryking. Question though... Is "permanent" really German for "permanently"? :?
