Hyper-CS 1.0 BETA
I picked on learning things about Fakemeta a couple of weeks ago. Here's the result. This plugin makes no sense at all, but hopefully it will be fun. Soo, anyways... What it does? -A huge amount of FX to the game -Exploding USP bullets -"Rockets" -Ability to fly when jump is pressed down (steering surf-style, not by aim) -Immediate spawning after death (+ spawn protection) -Semi-recoil -MP5 now shoots laser beams -New bomb models -No external downloads, all needed files are in your server already :) What it does not do? No removal of bomb targets or hostages. Why? Since all new mods do that nowadays, and I want to enhance the gameplay further with fun aspects. Other info: This version is posted for bug gathering and suggestions. So feel free to post both to this thread. It has been tested on a listen server with a couple of bots, but I have no idea what would happen on a bigger server. So I can't guarantee it does not crash on bigger servers. Known glitches: -If "mp_freezetime" is set to "0", players will be forced with new weapons on roundstart -There's no sound on the MP5 yet, but hell, it's fun -Rockets don't fly through windows TODO: -Much -Add more weapons with more custom abilities -Fix bugs -Work on suggestions This plugin changes your following server cvars: sv_maxspeed to 5000 sv_airaccelerate to 5000 sv_airmove to 10 Screenshots(photobucket): Bomb has been planted Random things Thar goes my rockets to them green men Getting shot at with USP and MP5 Credits: Author: ME! I believe this plugin deserves plenty of "Lulz".
Also, you may want to upload the sounds/models/sprites. A minor improvement would be to replace the ifs/else ifs in your trail stock with a switch statement. You may also want to add an enabling/disabling cvar. |

Edited my post :). Lastly, you may want to let them bind the key rather than forcing mouse3 as rocket shot (though I don't actually use it myself).

Do you realize how fast a running speed of 5000 is? (you can't really run faster then 2000 anyway)
I don't think you do otherwise you wouldn't be setting it that high. If you think I'm wrong go test this, but this time set your cl_forwardspeed, cl_sidespeed, and cl_backspeed all to 5000 (their defaults are 400 and don't let you run over a speed of 400 unless you change it). |

"-MP5 now shoots laser beams" and for kalashnikov? 2. u can make cvars for: Immediate spawning after death (+ spawn protection) (on/off) Semi-recoil (on/off) Players glowing (on/off) "Rockets" (on/off) and a cvars for sv_maxspeed to 5000 sv_airaccelerate to 5000 sv_airmove to 10 (default server or these ) adjust visibilty (is a little dark) tks man |
