Attempts to balance teams by giving the losing team extra money.
This is probably less effective than switching players between teams but is also much less intrusive. The cvar extramoney can be set to 0 in order disable the plugin from giving any money out. With version 0.6 you can now also set extrahealth to have the winning team get less damage per shot once the sliding scale passes 5 and is already giving the max amount of extra money. This may not be appropriate for stock cs, but works nicely in combination with warcraft and similiar mods. Setting extramoney will not take effect till the next map change. Our server also uses a win difference limit (if one team get's ahead by 12 rounds change the map and hope for a better team mix) and awp win limit (if a team is ahead by 5 or more rounds they can't use the awp) to help the team balance as well. The combination of all 3 seems to work out pretty well. 0.7 Small optimization so the extrahealth cvar is not checked on every damage event. 0.6 Added decreased damage Changed sliding scale adjustment to half of winning streak 0.5 Initial public release. It would be nice if you can tell the plugin by a cvar how far the winning team must be ahead so the other team gets more money.
Or did i miss smth ? |
